A key cut at a hardware store opens the door of a car in a tower garage off India Street, then the dash lights up and the engine does nothing. The blade is right and the chip is missing. We program a transponder key at your space in the resident garage; buzz us through the gate or meet us at the entrance on Kettner Boulevard or State Street.

For a garage, that means its name or entrance street, the level and the row; for a condo tower, the name and whether the gate needs a resident fob, since we arrive as a guest. At a valet stand we meet the attendant with you. On the street, give us the cross street and the side; we take a metered space or a loading zone with the hazards on. Ballpark and Convention Center dates slow Harbor Drive and East Village after the event ends, so expect us from a side street.
